- Lexical Captcha. The Pro Edition uses an advanced and robust lexical captcha method. J! Reactions has NO competition when it comes to automated spam protection. The other products continue to get it wrong.
- Proxy-aware IP Blacklisting. Pro Edition administrators can now block IP addresses from the commenting system. This new feature is partially integrated with J! Reactions' lexical captcha system to allow for automatic blacklisting!
- Traffic Control. The Pro Edition allows admins to easily suspend or close comments for individual content items without affecting the parent content or existing comments. The traffic control system now includes a combination of manual and automatic triggers.
- Auto Comment Removal. The Pro Edition can automatically purge old or expired comments on a daily basis. Comment maintenance doesn't get much easier than this. You can see the feature in action at this website: each 'test' comment on the demo page is automatically purged shortly after appearing in the list.
- Text Censor. The Pro Edition scans both the title and comment body for any text designated as 'unacceptable' (such as common spam markers). Moreover, the text censor includes a four-way action switch--three more actions than most other extensions.
- Auto-Moderation. With the Pro Edition, admins can give normal members permission to edit or delete their own comments. The auto-edit permission is completely safe and suitable for any website, because it is subject to the same error checking and validation that is applied to new comments.
- Extendible Form Interface. The Pro Edition features another first in commenting software. J! Reactions' optional, custom data field makes it ridiculously easy to collect and display specialized information with comments, such as the user's country, favorite food or occupation—depending on the purpose of the website.
